2004 FJR 1300 ABS Sport-Touring Yamaha.

After I take a couple of weeks to get used to the fit/feel of this, I will start putting the Mrs. on back for day trips and overnighters.

Already rode it to Lake Gaston and back (approx. 110 miles each way). No fatigue. I will be able to go all day on this bike, stopping only for gas and drinks.

From what I can see, it looks great! But the pictures are kinda small, so I am inferring that. Hope you got a great deal on it.

Very nice!

I was so rabid about that bike, I was able to purchase the 33rd FJR1300 imported into the states in 2003. You'll love it.

Unfortunately, my FJR met an untimely end when the wife and I hit a deer. (Here is my "why you should always where a helmet" video that I made as a result of my crash if you are interested... Hah...LOL, looks like Youtube yanked the sound because I had the Queen song "another on bites the dust" playing... Oh well. At least the video is still there)

On the plus side, I still have spare oil filters (and a few other items) if you're interested.

That is assuming #1 you don't fall off of it first and #2 that she even wants to go on such a trip??

And how can you get any overnight gear on such a small bike??

Sweet ride Scott,
Do you ever get up to Skyline Drive? I have a touring cruiser, we should hook up sometime for a weekender with the LOML's, I know some awsome routes in WVA that spectacular in the Fall. I also take my bike down to Fla on the auto train & cruise from Orlando to Key West in the Winter. There is this little thing called spinal surgery (Sept 10) that I need to recoup from first though if your interested.

Jim
