ive just started learning to make pens am limited in about every way here .
Made my first pens on a drill press and slowly workin my way up as i can afford. almost any idea is new to me sorry but am lost for the most part.
from what ive seen so far ,, ive got alot to learn.

welcome aboard mark. you will enjoy the vortex greatly. the big trick is keep working and use errors, and blowouts, etc as learning experiences. take your time until you get more familiar. by the way, this is the place to get help with your learning curve. you can ask almost anything on this forum and someone has the answer. usually several different persons with answers. not better or worse but different and gives you choices to use meeting your own skill, equipment and material sets.

Welcome from Northern Virginia. There is a lot to learn hear by reading posts and checking out topics in the IAP library here. Also, You Tube videos.
 
When I catch up in "New Post" I go yo the Library. Believe me,we can have fun there for a l-o-n----g! time.You cann't help having fun here.
