New saw for cutting blanks

What do you think of this saw for cutting blanks? Think I could get a straight cut with it? It does have a laser guide:biggrin:

They also have a homing fork that automatically finds it's way to your mouth
without programming. Just pick it up and aim!
Of course, they say it may not work while under the influence of alcohol, but
that only makes sense.

That has got to be the most ridiculous addition to a perfectly good tool that I've ever seen.

ninety percent of the tools they add laser to don't benefit from them...i.e. a laser guided jigsaw!

It's a marketing gimick that's gotten out of hand - like saying 'oxy-anything' on cleaning supplies, when it's just hydrogen peroxide and baking soda!

Dale, Isn't that cheating, using a laser on a hand saw?:tongue: I still would not be able to cut a straight line using it.:redface: I have a small collection of older ones from family members as I am called the "Family Tool Guy". Everyone comes to me for their tool needs, but most forget to return so I have to go out on a scavenger hunt.
