PLease see attached link and let me know if it is easy enough to use. I didnt want to use turning time maintaining a website so I created a blog to direct my customers to. I think they can get ideas and have choices from here. I know it is not as nice as many have, but I keep quite busy by word of mouth (I sell 8 to 10 pens a month plus my occasional business production )and I still have time to make my expression pens... the stuff I make at my request.

Thanks for looking!

Very interesting. LOML has been trying to get me to start a web page (been to lazy I mean busy [;)]) any way this looks like it might be a good way to go. Have you had many sells or calls yet? and are you listed on any search engine?

I like the idea of your blog. It's an easy way to maintain a site. My only critique of the site is the lack of details about the pens (the backbone of your business). If you're not an active penturner you may have difficulty understanding the lingo. Just to see, I asked LOML (but not familiar with pen specifics) to decipher a few of the photos and descriptions.

For your "tn gold churchill F.P. in ash burl" - - - she thought it was Tone gold cigar fine point in ash burl. (I've gotta have a talk with her!) Maybe an abbreviation key on the front page of the blog might be in order? Especially if you're limited by the number of characters in the descriptions.

The photos and pens, though, are beautiful and I think you're on the right track. The koa rollerball panasche is really interesting.

Glenn,
Nice blog, good idea, great content, and exceptionally nice pens, but what else is there to expect from you! Top shelf all the way around. I may need to visit with you on making cabinets...need some for the garage...
Do a good turn daily!

I like the whole idea and the site! I especially like the "My wife, Sherry calls it whittling." Gives the site a "homey" feel. It don't hurt that your pens are top notch [:)]
Best of luck

No visits except for the people I send there. It's really a place for people that I have met, that ask if I have a website, so they can peruse my available pens and get an idea of what I can custom make for them.

Don,
You must have read the article with a few misquotes in there. I dont do cabinets anymore.

Thanks for the compliments and as for the lingo, most of the potential customers I have sent there understand the abbreviations are for identification purposes, not for description, though I will watch my P's and Q's in the future.
