I use the folkart paint from HL to distress my foil blanks and for painting tubes for watch part pens. Couple weeks back I bought a new bottle, same brand, and color. Never had an issue. Over the weekend I was making some watch pens. Painted the tubes, waited 24 hours, epoxy the parts on, waited another 24 hours. I cast them Monday night and turned them today. What I had was any area the was not covered in epoxy, between gears, the paint seemed to melt and bleed onto the gears and watch face. Also had some separation on one of the ends. No issue at all with the one that was distressed. This was a similar issue i had early on when I tried one of those paint pens. Any ideas? Bad paint? Nothing else in my process has changed.
