New lathe

Treated myself to a new lathe, Nova DVR3000 xp complete with stand and outrigger(not shown).

Was on a special offer for complete outfit with a free Supernova2 chuck.

I also purchased Robert Sorby modular tool rests 4" and 6" for penturning, and an adapter so my Axminster collet chuck would be usable on my new lathe.

Over here in the UK the price is £1,745.00 for the complete set-up. Delivery is extra and I gave the driver a few pounds cause he now has a hernia! lol

I have to say these are fantastic lathes. My Father has the DVR (not the XP) and I just love it. Only problem is the digital speed changing is slow. Have they improved it with this model?

Richard on this model you can easily programme in 5 favourite speeds that you can change as often as you like.
