Treated myself to a new lathe, Nova DVR3000 xp complete with stand and outrigger(not shown).

Was on a special offer for complete outfit with a free Supernova2 chuck.

I also purchased Robert Sorby modular tool rests 4" and 6" for penturning, and an adapter so my Axminster collet chuck would be usable on my new lathe.

Congrats Mark on the new lathe [:p] I love my DVR.
So how much does a DVR cost on the other side of the world [?]
Pounds, Euros, Rubbles, Lira ????
I am still trying to locate the ornimental jig for mine, I hear they are going to reintroduce it.

Hi, thanks for the kind words!

Over here in the UK the price is Ă‚ÂŁ1,745.00 for the complete set-up. Delivery is extra and I gave the driver a few pounds cause he now has a hernia! lol

Pikebite - here is a link to Stiles and Bates where I got mine:

WHOAA!!! [:0][:0][:0]

Nice to be reminded how good we have it here in the US...with price, other options and all.

Still a mighty fine lathe from all the reviews I've read/heard [^]

Mark

I have to say these are fantastic lathes. My Father has the DVR (not the XP) and I just love it. Only problem is the digital speed changing is slow. Have they improved it with this model?
