My wife got herself a new knee this morning.Everything went great. She was in surgery for a little over an hour. She will be in the hospital for a few days. Then rehab for 2 weeks. Can't wait for her to come home.I can not get off work.So I can only visit for a little while.I have to make the house walker friendly while she is gone.It is amazing what they do with you now.Doc said she would be up dancing tonight.I have to get my dancing shoes on.Todd

My wife got hers a year ago and she is really happy with it. Make your wife stick with the therapy and it will go fast and well.

Todd; congratulations. Say, I know that you will hear this from everyone who has had a knee replacement, including me. Make sure she follows through on physical therapy. If she does what they want, her knee will be pain free and work the way it was meant to. Stairs will be a little tough while she is convalescing. Good work, good luck and God Bless.

Amazing what they can do with joints now. Glad it all went well and hope the recovery continues the same. ANother vote for doing all of the physical therapy they prescribe. It really does hasten the healing process.

Ditto on the therapy. I had a hip replaced 5 yaers ago and my mom has both knees replaced. Stay with the exercises and youll come out like a champ!!! She will kick the walker after her first week!!!

What is that AVATAR? Is it that Offsprey (sp?) airplane or some wind turbines?

It is a head on shot of the Marine V22 Osprey in airplane mode. I work on the progam doing testing. There are a couple others on here that also work on the V22 in different parts of the world.

First, CONGRATS TO Todd and his wife!! I hope you two dance the night away!!

Now i am going to hijack the thread!!! There was an accident somewhere with one of those airplanes i think just the other day on the news,, I think it happened in OKC.

This big airplane looking thing with two giant rotors was flying over a group of people gathered on the ground. It was in helicopter mode, and There were some trees around the people and when the aircraft flew over, the force from the rotors started breaking the limbs of the trees and people were getting thrashed. I think nobody was killed, but several people were injured and had to go to the hospital. pretty wild stuff.

Well I got to go have lunch with my wife yesterday. They are going to let her come home Tuesday. The rehab is going great.Thank you for all your support.

No accident it was central park I believe and the pilot from what I was told came a little low and hot before converting no injuries reported other than the tree...with all the debris flying lucky a motor did not FOD out!!!
