This being a new hobby I'm taking on I'm looking forward to all your expert tips and advice. I'm just now in the process of carving out a spot in my shop to set up my Jet Mini-Lathe. I've been an avid woodworker for years but for some reason have never gotten into the art of turning all that much. However, after playing around on a brothers lathe I believe I've found a new passion. Looking forward to participating in the IAP.

Welcome to the site from Southwoods Penturning.....southeast Arkansas! Pretty soon you may get like the rest of us....hooked on the process....there is an Arkansas Chapter that meets semi-occaisionally..look under forums for state chapter info.

Mind you I am not aware of anyone dying from it.
