Hi all Dave here checking in from Bourbon, Indiana. I'm new to turning haven't done any pens yet but have turned some nice bowls and goblets. Have everything to do pens just haven't gotten around to try it yet. Looking forward to learning some techniques from you guys and looking around the site.

Welcome Dave from the Southport (INDY) Area. Our friend Ernie claims there's no Bourbon in Indiana or we don't know what it is. You are proof positive!

Randy,
Funny that area crops up. We took a mini vacation to visit some of the Bourbon Trail back in August and Bardstown is where we stayed. The Talbot Tavern was a cool place to enjoy Lunch and Dinner while we were in the area.
 
Welcome from Indy! Chapter Meeting in Indy (actually Avon) on the 21st if you want to make the drive down.

Welcome aboard!! I've been through bourbon Indiana before. My claim is that most people in Hoosierville have no clue what bourbon is :biggrin:. And I believe the wing joint we went to proved my theory correct :wink:
