I've lurked a few times while looking for information and finally made the jump to join in on the fun and no doubt gain some insight/knowledge....maybe even a laugh or two?
I guess I've been woodworking to some extent since i was a kid but really got serious about it several years ago. I worked in the commercial HVAC/R industry so working with wood was a welcome reprieve.
I became disabled about 2 years ago, I personally refuse to use that terminology though....I prefer to say that I retired early (I'm 41).
I came about pen turning out of curiosity as well as not being able to do all of the types of woodworking I had previously done. From the time I turned that first pen though I was hooked and what I figured to be just a way to occupy myself has become almost an obsession.
