Hello, my name is Exabian, from chicago. Let see, what got me started would have to be when I went to a wood crafts expo and visited the pen turning tent where I made my first pen. Well I was looking for a fun hobby and since I've all ways loved a good pen, I was hooked. I have been turning pens for about 8 months now.

I found IAP through google while searching for new info and site about pen turning. I already knew that I had ALOT to learn about the art but I am so glad I found this place. It humbling and loaded with info. Plus loads of experiences and lessons.

We don't yet have a Chicago IAP chapter, but you are invited to join us in Wisconsin at our next meeting in March!! We meet four times a year-- about 30-40 attend (except when we schedule opposite a Green Bay game!!)
