New England floods ?

I can't help being concerned about our members in the New England states . Wolftat ? You OK ? Charlie ? Alton ?

Glug glug, still breathing, glug.....LOL ....I live on a hill by a lake, most of the hill washed out (read as less lawn to cut) and the lake is about 5 feet over the normal depth. AT the end of the lake is a dam and their are several boats either on the bottom of the dam or hanging on by a thread, I am going to go down there later and make sure none of them are mine. This area has been declared a true mess by FEMA.

Sorry to hear about the boats but on the bright side they make a excellent reef!!!!

SOme tough stuff happening up here, and they say the cresting isn't coming until this afternoon. A lot of damage to the roads and stuff, but houses and other buildings (mostly) seem to be ok.

only hd had 6' of water in my finished basement....Looks like I'll be able to afford that new lather after all :rain::rain::rain: Very glad I signed up for flood insurance last year when they pitched it...best 450 I ever spent

No picnic here in Northern NJ lots of areas under water still :frown: Wayne NJ is like a big lake today.....
