New Coast Guard Orders

My son, daughter-in-law and grandson came home for a week vacation today and gave us the good news that he has received his transfer orders form the Coast Guard. He told us last week it could Alaska, Washington, California, North Carolina or Mississippi (all would be further from Houston than New Orleans where he is now).
His new duty station will be the USCGC Diligence out of Wilmington NC. Looks like they will be moving sometime in May.

Umm... Umm. Best blue crab claws in the world and all the Calabash shrimp you can eat. Wilmington will be a GREAT duty station. Not a terrible drive from Huston either.

GO Coast Guard!! They are smaller than the NY Police Department, and are stretched from Guam to Italy and from the North Poll to the South Poll. I did my three years in CA.
