I upgraded my band saw yesterday to a JET 10" benchtop. I got a good deal at Woodcraft. I don't know much about bandsaws but this one is heavy and has a 1/2 horse running it. Does anyone else have this saw?

I've had a Jet 14" for quite a few years - It's the old blueish colored one.
Been really happy with it - invest in a good blade and you can cut about anything.

I have had mine about 5 months now,and I think it's a nice saw.I mounted mine on a roller cart along side the small drill press, and that makes it really easy to roll around.I made a simple extender for the sliding miter so if I have to trim just a tad off the end of a blank, that keeps it cutting square, and my fingers out of the way.

I got an assortment of blades, but have not gotten them out yet.Looking around,I found the size of blade (67.5'') not too common,so I was a little worried that I made a mistake. But it was no problem getting the Timberwolf blades from Suffolk.Their prices are less than I expected.

I like the LED flex-light.Actually works good to see the cutting line when it's dark outside.

I enjoy it every time I use it. Have fun with your new Jet!

I have that saw, I like it works good for what I am doing now. After I did some initial tuning it cuts really well. I'm able to do some resawing not too thick though. Overall it's great.
