Hello
I am a new member having signed up this past week. I have been lurking for a while as I am interested in making pens.
I am a machinist since I retired like to build rifles and model engines and other things from metal. I have a spot in the shop that has no equipment so being interested in pen making thought I would take the plunge.
I have a lathe and milling machine but turning wood on the lathe makes a big mess.
I thought I might get one of the small Grizzly wood lathes as all my wood and metal working machines are from there and have had good luck with them.
From looking at the work presented here, I am very impressed with the quality and designs that have been made. I look forward to getting started.
