For those who have not seem them yet...Alumilite finally has a MUCH better bottle for their dye! I suggested to Mike (Owner of Alumilite) over a year ago that he needed to use a different type of bottle for their dye. As a great company, they listened and they have new dye bottles that will be MUCH easier to work with! I know some of you have already seen these but I just thought I would post a pic for those who haven't!

Do not know about the bottles with black since I have yet to use the new bottles! However, if you are having problems with the black, add a little bit of odorless mineral spirits and your trouble will go away. This is an approved method from Alumilite.

I believe I'll do that, thanks!

I stopped by Alumilite and picked these up the other day. As I was trying them I was having trouble with the black dye, thanks for the idea. Besides the thickness, they seem to work well. I just wish all the colors were in the nice bottles. I'm sure they will get there.

Just had a delivery in Australia and obviously they still have the old stock. When I removed the sticky tape that was on them all the instructions cam off.

The new bottle lock to be the bees knees.

Yet to pour my first batch

I just got in 5 bottles of dye today. Four are in the new bottles and white is still in the old bottle. The black feels a bit thick in the bottle as compared to the other colors which are much more like water. It does not shake up like the other colors do. I guess I'll find out more when I do a casting.
