Now that we have told the family I just can't wait to keep telling everyone I know. My wife and I are expecting our first baby. She's 2 months along so the baby is due in October. It's very exciting news and only a little scary.

Congratulations, the baby will change your life but all for the good. We are expecting our second grandchild in April and they are just as exciting. Wish you and the family well.

The kids are so great....specialy when they are sleeping :)

I remember when I came home from the hospital with our first born. I had no idea what to do with the baby, but you learn along the way.

Oh yeah, and IT IS SO GREAT IF YOU ARE LIVING AT YOUR PARENTS HOUSE !!!!!! free baby service, open 24 hours/day
 
My wife will be living with her Grandparents and near her father. I will be a few hours away which kind of sucks, at least for the first 2 months of the babies life.

If you think it's a little scary now wait until you actually take that little one in your arms and realize, this is someone you are responsible for - for the next 18-20 years... that's the beginning a the greatest adventure of your life.

Well since she is a few months away does anyone have any plans for a rocking horse? I will have a lot of free time while my wife is in Houston and I'm in San Angelo and would like to spend it at the base shop making pens and a rocking horse.

It has been a loooong time, but I still remember the thrill of finding out Nancy was pregnant with our daughter. Wonderful times, enjoy them!
 
Congratulations Ty, but don't believe the 18-20 years part. This is permanent. The best feeling you'll ever have is when you hold your son or daughter for the first time. The only thing close is grand children. Enjoy

Congrats Ty. My son was born 10 days ago. I must say, get in all the shop time you can now, its hard to put them down.
