Network attached storage

I'm looking for recommendations on a network attached storage device for our home network. I need to find a place to store photos, videos, MP3's, and any other personal files that are taking up monster amounts of space on my hard drive. I'm down to 608 MB and desperately need to make room. I want a network attached storage because it's my understanding that it easily compatible with PC's (my wife's computer) and Mac's (my computer). Any suggestions?

PS. I'm trying not spend a fortune...maybe between $100-200.

Me personnaly would just add a external usb 1tb drive to a existing system and sahre it accross the network, total cost about 100.00

Brian...On the Boxing Day sales at Future Store I purchased for $79.00 an Iomega Select Desktop Hard Drive with 1tb storage. Its PC/Mac compatable. Darrell Eisner

I purchased a 1 tb external hard drive for under a hundred. Fair warning it doesn't take much to fill it up. I may be buying a 2 tb here soon.
