My nephew, Vince built a very special crib for their first baby. I just had to post a picture of it here. I'm so very proud of him!

(I made the "Baby Fish" quilt for the baby)

Very nice work. Love the idea and hats off for the creativity. In my opinion, such as it is, it is best used as a cradle for the first few months. As stated, it could be unsafe when the child starts climbing around. Unless you cover it with canvas like the cruise ships with life rafts.

Cradle! That's the word I was looking for . . .it's a cradle. Of course it will just be used in the early months. Both Vince and Jessie are nurses. I'm sure they'll have a crib-bed for him/her when baby gets bigger.

Of course I wouldn't put it past Vince to make a larger "grounded" boat.

He used walnut and Alaskan Yellow Cedar.
