As I'm new to the turning world, and wood working in general (Metal/plastic has always been my thing, I weld and 3d print) I'm very unfamiliar with shops and other assets we have in the area.

I've heard of Berea hardwoods, I do plan on making a trip out there someday. I'm also soon to move to the Orwell area, near middlefield. I've been informed of some Amish lumber mills and cabinet makers out there that give away / sell cutoffs.

What other assets do we have locally?
