Needing advice on getting a mandrel saver

I bought one, but I use it for turning. I use it for finish 4 to 8 barrels at the same time (almost 5 year old, but not under heavy use). I think I got it from Rocker or WC. I have no complaints, but maybe someone who uses it for its intended purpose is a better source of advice.
