Need tech advice on this forum

I joined a week or so ago and have been having nothing but problems when trying to post and view PM's. When I try and post a response to those that said hello in my intro thread I get the response "your submission could not be proccessed because the token has expired" what does this mean? When I sign on it gives me the welcome screen then takes me back to the sign on screen. It tells me I have PM's but will not show them to me without me fussing around alot. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks guys, I tried deleting cookies and temp files to no avail. I actually had to sign in twice after doing it to get on. I know how to manage through reading and sending PM's, I belong to other forums and have no problems doing it. For some reason I am having trouble getting acknowledged as being "signed on" even when I get the screen that says welcome billd62.
