need some video help

I took a video with my camera but I need to edit the sound (remove it entirely would be easiest). What can I do that's free?

If you can get the file into my hands, I'll remove the audio for you. Probably too large for a email attachment, so you may have to mail a disk.

Microsoft Movie Maker (standard in my op systems) allows you to take the sound volume to near mute, may allow actual mute.

Yeah use movie maker...Comes standard on all pc's these days. Make sure you have your clip selected. Then go to TOOLS on the toolbar and select audio levels. Then slide the rule all the way over to decrease the sound. Or go to the CLIP menu and then select audio and mute.
