Need some opinions

I wanted to make some music available on my site without it being mandatory, so I embedded a video at the bottom of the pages that you can listen to if you press the play button.

What do you guys think?

Do I need to move it and should I keep it on all pages, or maybe space different music/videos around the site?

Oh, I'll be adding in a comment above this about Supporting the troops since that's what this video is all about.

I haven't viewed your site specifically, Mike; but as a general rule adding music to a site usually does not do anything for me. I generally find it annoying. I would say that only one site in 15 that has music is benefitted by its use.

I realize this is as much a personal preference as anything so I'm sure you will plenty of votes "FOR" music as well.

Mike, I like the touch but agree that it is nothing more than personal preference. I like support of our troops in any form. The only problem i see is that to listen to the entire song I have to stay on that page. I don't know if there is any way to make it so the song plays while I browse your site.

Randy, that's why I wanted something that didn't start when you go to the site, but that a person could click on and listen/watch only if they wanted to. If you don't go down to the bottom and click the play button, you'd never know there is any music on the site.

Daniel, I haven't figured out a way yet, But I'd like it the way you talk about too.

You can give the option to simply listen to music as they browse the site with an embed but if you want to show the Patriotic video send them to a separate page devoted entirely to the theme of Supporting Our Troops.

The reason is that watching the video on the pen page stops their pen browsing. Your site is there for business so keep it focused on business. At the same time you can show your support for the troops and have that positively affect your business. Just don't allow one to detract from the other.
