Hey folks.
I lost my Netscape 7.0 which had my composer on it.
I need a new way to write and edit my web site.
what program and where to get it would be helpful

Thanks, got to poking around after i posted this. Found NVU listed in anouther thread.
as of now i seem to have a real nightmare going.
I loaded netscape 7.2, got it to open once on my computer. closed it on accident and tried to restart it. now it strts to open then closes on it's own. no idea what that is about. tried removing it and reloading it several times and no luck. so looks like netscape is out.

had to go dig out all my files for my web site control panel and ftp program. managed to get into both but cannot do anything. it keeps asking for usernames and passwords that i don't seem to have.

I've got an e-mail into my host so I'll see what they can do.

as it is I can't even remove my pages from the web.

Double thanks,
Just downloaded NVU, and it looks familiar enough. It opened one of my old composer files and it looks good at first glance. hopefully it won't take long to figure out the extras.

Netscape 7.2 only works on Win XP, if you are working on an older version of windows you'll need Netscape 7.0 (or less)

Nvu is the successor, and it's not a bad product esp. for a freebie. I use Dreamweaver because I have it, but I wouldn't pay $400 for it for casual use.
