As for the photo we posted the tree is located in Ironwood Forest National Monument, Sonoran Desert just west of the Saguaro National Park on the west side of Tuscan, AZ.

Yea, what you might be planning on doing would definitely require a very dark and stormy night. Ya know, the critters out there at night use digital photography to catch 'poachers' and the National Park Service really looks down on mid-night requisitions as well.
