You can use a wide assortment of professionally done sites that cost high dollars; or, you can use the ones that are already sort of set up for you for a whole lot less; just a few bucks a month. The big question: Are you willing to do your own search engine optimization and/or advertising. Just setting up a site won't do it. It would be the equivalent of going downtown, renting a shop, stocking it, and never unlocking the front door.
It will take work. Submitit is a site where you can pay $49/yr and they will list you on search engines monthly and send you a report. You can also go to the search engine sites your self and list, usually at no cost; but it is time consuming. Then you should also advertise, but again, keep a handle on costs. Go list on all the free e classifieds you can find and point them to your site.
