The seal on my HF pot is poor at best. I can get it to hold 40 psi most of the time, occassionaly 50 psi but rarely more. What can I use to bulk up this seal, or where can I get a new one?

Thanks

Call 1-800-444-3353 and give them the paint pot model number; 2-1/2 GALLON PAINT POT
SKU 66839, in the manual the gasket it is part #2 (Lid Gasket). These wear over time so you may want to order more than 1.

Hope this helps, Eugene

Your loss of pressure could also be due to poor seals around the fittings on the pots, not necessarily the seal. Make a spray bottle solution of soap and water and fill the pot with pressure, then spray around all of the fittings. If the solutions bubbles then you have an air leak at that spot. You can then reseal the sitting or lightly tighten them and eliminate your pressure leak.

are you greasing the seal? mine used to leak around 40, but if i remember to swipe vaseline around it, i get a good hold at 50+/-.
