It would make a good bowl rounding saw,but 35cc is pretty tiny for most needs. But for $60 I guess its hard to beat.A lot of good deals on craigslist for used saws as long as you know what to look for.I'm currently looking for a nice used Stihl 066 or a Husqvarna 394/394 to use for slabbing logs out in peoples back yards.Victor

This saw is made for casual use. They are made for a once or twice a year usage...
I think ,since coming from a town that has a chain saw plant and a mowing and landscaping business, I can advise against this saw at any price....
Unless you want to buy another, down the road ,could be a short one.
If you want one that will last and could possibly be you last saw. I can recomend two or three.
Makita would be at the top of my list, as I have a weedeater that is going on 25 years old (not casualy used either)and a used chain saw that was rented out at an equipment rental store. New price for the saw was over $600. I paid $175 it has an 18'' bar and they had all service records and threw in a new chain. Its a hoss. also Stihl,Redmax, and (Husqvarna not the one that is sold in the big box stores). Go to a saw shop to buy husqvarner they are different. They will also have the ones that the big box stores have so ask for the better saws.

I have a Craftsman air compressor that blew a head gasket. Sears sells the rebuild kit for about $16.00. Has anyone successfully rebuilt one of these?? Wanta trade something for it? Think I will rebuild it and sell it since we bought another.

I bought a brand new homelite from HD and it ran once and died. Gave it to my brother and bought a Husquvarna. They had to replace the electronic unit that made i run, he used it 3 times and it died again. He went out and bougtha Sthil. It will be the last Homelite I will buy.

I rock a Stihl. 18" bar. I think i paid $125 for it shipped. It is reconditioned from the factory. It is on it's fourth year and i use it ALOT. I cut firewood and turning wood with it. This winter has been long and hard on it. I am on chain number three and bar number two. This thing fires up second pull every time. like clockwork. I don't even use the choke.

3 chains and 2 bars you know that you don't push the saw through the wood right?LOL.You must be cutting a ton of wood,I sharpen all my own chains with stones from Baileys and a dremel(super easy).I have yet to mess a bar up only replaced bent ones from saws I bought used.Victor so who has the stihl 066 they want to sell????
