I know there is a forum for freebies, but i really want this small freebie to be for people who have casting experience. Hope i'm not breakin the rules posting it.:befuddled:
I am about to make several runs of 6 pen blanks at a time and I am going to test some different things out while i do it. I would like to send 6 people a box of pen blanks to try. I already have one volunteer, and am sending a PM to another hopeful volunteer, so i only need 4 more volunteers.
I just want to make sure my blanks are as good as i think they are, and i figured it might be cool for some fellow casters to enjoy turning someone elses blanks.
The blanks in question will be Poly Resin blanks colored with Mica powders. They will all be multi color blanks, and just so you know, I am not stingy with the color. They will be round blanks.. Some will be from 1/2" PVC, and some will be from 3/4" PVC. Each box will contain 9 blanks. three sets of three matching blanks.
What i ask in return:
I ask that you turn one of the sets of three into finished products and let me know how each blank did. I would like to know how they drill for you, and how they turn and finish etc. etc. All three blanks will be quite a bit different in their mix. Nothing crazy, just varying amounts of color and MEK. I don't expect anyone to turn them immediately, but within a reasonable amount of time would be cool.
The other two sets of blanks are for you to keep. A gift for helping me out.
I must ask that the volunteers be in the USA. The one volunteer i have now is overseas, and i am trying to do this without spending tons on shipping.
I am also asking that you have experience casting. You don't have to cast PR, but experience turning it would be nice. Or if you are just a master superman turner and wanna sign up then cool! I am just looking for solid feedback on my materials.
Let's say the first four that can agree to the above post here, and we will go from there.

I will be sending PM's to the winners momentarily. Again everyone, thank you very much for playing along. I am sorry if anyone feels left out, or shorted. I know there were some people that signed up before some of the people on the list. I felt like some volunteers were better suited for my needs than others.
