During the middle of the pandemic, I got so used to turning out a couple pens a week, I feel like I'm slacking off if I don't get at least one or two done each week. It's therapeutic! (That's what I tell everyone anyway)
Here are a couple pens I made this past weekend with Stabilized Willow Burl - I have been working on improving my dying (which is really just letting it run under vacuum long enough to completely take up the dye).
The green divider material on the Gold (Hardite) Yari pen is vulcanized fiber board. The thicker dividers on the other (Viceroy) pen are just a couple of slices of maple.
