Sorry I couldn't figure out how to post pics on a continuing threads so I started a new one. I did figure out how to get the camera to transfer the pics to the computer. This is what I use. Dale once again I hope this helps and as always let me know if you have any questions.

Ah yes, I was looking as this same kind of setup earlier where the person used electrical tape for the plastic tube. Was it something you posted? The red plugs look the same too.
That's about what I will be doing.
I saw on McMaster Carr that they have some polyethylene tubing in 4 foot sections for $1.78, .79" ID. Would that work for the mold material? The price seems right and polyethylene is what the #1 recycle code is supposed to be and that is supposed to be OK for casting resin. I know the #6 is not!

Thanks for posting this Kenny, I appreciate it.

OK Kenny, I think I have something here. The high loop on the wire will make it easier to lower into the chamber.
The next one up is a 7mm tube so I used small cork stoppers.
Those should be easy to remove!
Is it still necessary to glue them in on the ends?

I use silicone stoppers and no glue. I just press them in where they're snug and I think with the hole in the top plug there is no need to glue them. I'm trying to get away from the pressure pot but when I was using it with cork plugs sometimes I had trouble with the cork compressing and then breaking the seal between the resin and tube when releasing the pressure. FYI I don't remember if you were using pressure or not. I also wrapped scotch tape around the cork plugs which made them easy to remove and reuse.

I have some black stoppers but they are not quite small enough for the 7mm tubes so I used these cork ones. I may still try this and glue them into the tube. Don Ward had an old but very lengthy and informative post on using them on snakeskin molds.
I do use pressure but it is a chamber made from a piece of pipe instead of a pot. I feel safer this way!
