Fingers crossed this works. I am not a superstations person unless it roles in my favor than I might believe in such things.
My plan is to make sure I am up and working on something fun creative and cool in the shop therefore if what they say is true what you do to bring in the new year is what you do and have success with during the year this will work. Only thing I can see that might get in the way is it's been a very busy day and I am thinking I better grab an Amp to drink in the energy to stay up for this.
You all think this sounds like a good plan for the New years eve of 2009?

It sounds as good as any!!

Lets see if you can post the first picture in SOYP in 2010!

Sounds like a good plan to me. My 6 year old wants to try and stay up until the new year. But if he crashes early I will be in the garage turning. I wasn't planning on doing it because it is new year's ever but mainly just because i want to turn. I turned a bloodwood designer pen last night and I have the tubes glued in some bloodwood blanks to make a matching pencil. Have a good one.

:biggrin:Sounds like a fine plan to me, with all due respect, I may play copy cat. Have a great new year.:coffee::coffee::coffee: I'll need at least 3 cups to stay up that late. LOL

Funny, I going to do the same. Weather is crap around here today. So, I'll be in the shop it's nice and warm. I'm going to try my first curved metal segment.

Great plan Karin, I unfortunately am working nights.:frown: But off in the morning and all weekend, so, blackeye peas and cabbage will be put on early when i get home. Then some football and about 10 orders to start working on.(Mostly cartridge pens) Happy New Year to all!

Well I don't do Amp, But I got 5 hour energy. I also have 3 blanks that are ready to turn tonight. I'll be bringing in the new year listening to Luciano Pavarotti and turning like crazy. See you guys next Decade.

You gave me the inspiration to get out of my chair and get back to the pen I've been fighting with all evening. I want my New Year to come in with me doing something good, too. Got about a half-hour left to finish this one up. Brazilian Rosewood on a Jr. Gent II. Messed up the first kit by over twisting the barrels too hard to get the grain to align. Broke a plastic part. Now I have it all apart and I'll steal the part I broke out of another kit. With any luck I'll be putting the ink cartridge in as the closck strikes twelve.
