This a repost I did on another site.
It's been rough getting out to my shop these past 7 months for a variety of reasons but the time has come. My creative juices were flowing thanks to some inspiration of the designs by David Shepherdson. Thanks David!
I started with 2 blanks of different colors and began cutting and adding the 1/16" aluminum. The pen kits are just regular Fancy Gun Metal Slimlines (by PSI) but made without a centerband. You advance the ink by twisting the nib. I know someone will ask so I'll tell you now it's all held together with CA glue. The shaping and turning was done without sandpaper because of all the aluminum. I did use 800, 1000, and 2000 grit in the CA finishing. Hope you like them.
