Today my bride and I are celebrating 37 years of wedded bliss. Looking back it just doesn't seem possible but here we are. We have surely been blessed.

That is probably THE "Praise the Lord" statement for the day!

My bride and I will have been together for 7 in January, and brother I can tell you that without her, my life would be a mess.

So many of us have forgotten that "forever" is NOT something you hope for. It is a PHILOSOPHY you live by.

Congratulations!

Congratulations, Vern! It's a rarity these days to see people married to the same person as long as we have. We're about 4 years behind you and will be celebrating our 33rd in just under two months. I'm not sure I'd call ours "bliss" though. It's taken work on both sides... mostly hers. [}:)][:D]

Congrats Vern. How does she manage to put up with you[?][?] Oh I know, you live in your shop.(ducks & runs).
LOML and I will celebrate our 32nd next May.

Billy, when did you get married? Age 12. You didn't seem that old when I met you in March.

I will say a big "AMEN!!!!" to that.

My bride and I celebrated 16 in June. I still ask her to marry me. Best thing is, she still says: "YES."

Congratulations and God Bless.

Yep... actually I'm older than I look. I attribute it to hanging out w/a younger crowd. I'd say good livin', but that would just be a lie.[:D]

Happy Anniversary Vern! When I was about to be married almost 20 years ago, someone gave me a card that said "When times get tough, when things aren't going well,...yada yada yada...just remember those three little words.......

"You're right, dear"

Best marriage advice I ever got.

For those that know me, I like to look at the quirkier side of things[:0]

You and your bride must share a great sense of humor to be married on Halloween/All Saints Day and to have stayed married all these years. Congrats and many more to come.

Still looking for the punchline?

Look at the subject.......

Take out the "L"....... Hidden meaning or coincedence?

Thanks to all for the well wishes. October was the only day we could both get off together. She was an attendent for Untied, whoops United, and I was an Air Traffic Controller at Chicago Center. It just worked out that way...BTW...the next day she flew to SAN and I had to work a swing shift. Yeah, it hasn't all been peaches and cream but she has dragged me kicking and screaming through it all.
Thanks again, Vern
