Hi, all -
Took a pen turning class a few months ago, have been gearing up, buying bits and bobs, ever since. Bought a bunch of small turning and pens kits as Christmas projects. Summarily had a knee replacement two weeks ago. Just now getting to where I can stand to turn, but my first solo project was a razor for my son.

First time using all the new gear, first time making/prepping a blank (a piece of pippy/burl cherry I've had sitting around for 28+ years), first time trying a CA finish (ugh), first assembly with my eBay press. Lots of learnings, lots left to learn, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
Have about a dozen pen kits in the queue (Gatsby, Gatsby Grande, Trimline), and a bunch of little offcuts to choose from. This is too fun.
