Me, my wife (obviously) and Isaac Christopher.

Born November 14, 2008 at 11:38pm .

8lbs, 3oz. About four pen blanks long.

I already have his first fishing rod (no joke) and his first set of mini-chisels (you figure out if I'm joking!).

My wife is an absolute hero. I cannot believe how great she looks after the labor. I mean, good grief, I look like I'm the one that was in labor for 20+ hours!!!!!

Cute way to measure him. You all look pretty good from here. Congrats. By the way as long as you don't actually pay them you can make them do pretty much anything.

Congratulations Matt, my son helped me in our jewelry shop from the time he was 6 I miss those days. Be careful the time passes so quickly, enjoy those fishing trips, and teaching him skills.

Congrats!! You find love growing up, you love your mother, you love your grandmother, you find young love then you find out what love is with the wife. But nothing compares to when your child is brought into this world. Its like no other love in the world! Again congrats!

Congratulations!!! I've had the opportunity to witness the amazing heroics of my wife 3 times. It has amazed me each and every time. You are blessed.

Congrats Matt . Cherish this time because they grow up soooooo fast , mine are 13 and 15 now but it seems like only yesterday ............ :crying:sniff sniff:crying:

It does not get any better than that! You will never forget that day. Congratulations!

You are absolutely right!!

Skye--- yes, I did cut the umbilical. Was cool, for sure. Hey, I'm still working on that wood. Our bandsaw has a bum power switch and it only occasionally works, we have a new switch on order, supposedly, that's what I'm told.

Hey -- you think this is great? (It is!) Wait until you have grandchildren -- it's even better!

Congratulations, and many blessings to the three of you.

What a great picture! Just look at that little guy ... dang!

Somebody already said it ... it doesn't get any better than that!

BTW thank goodness Isaac doesn't look like his old man.:biggrin:

Congrats, Now you'll know what love is all about. Er wait make that hate, er wait all that will come out in the middle of all those sleepless nights when he doesn't know what he wants and just cries, all the way to the sleepless when he stays out late still not knowing what he wants. Just remember patience. After having several the main thing I can tell you is there is no love like that of a child that depends on you for everything. It takes patience, but the rewards are ten fold. Congratulations!

Congrats!!!

For someone who went through 20 hours of labor, your wife sure looks great!

Things will be different at your home...in a good way :biggrin:
