I had some Chameleon powder "Carribean Blue to Green" left over after painting the El Camino. Got some Silmar 41 and, a 4 cavity mold from Gadget. I should have gotten the mold with larger cavities, since this stuff shrinks as it cures. But, I was able to get a cigar out of this blank. I don't think I would want to do this every day. My respect goes out to you guys who do this stuff.

I am curious. How does the pen compare to the completed paint job on the El Camino? This is a neat idea for a pen.

That's a sweet looking pen Chuck. I bet you can keep yourself enertained all day just sitting there twirling it in the sunlight!

Thanks, obviously it being in a solid blank form it's a little different than being sprayed onto a flat surface. I still need to get the chrome back on the El before I take any more pics of it. Waiting for some clips to arrive. But color wise it's the same.

Looks good Chuck! I hope it matches the El, that is a neat idea.
Thanks Joe. The biggest difference is the swirls in the blanks. This is going to have to be made with a kitless variation.

That looks AMAZING. I would dare to call that a perfect blank. If I were gunning for a specific effect for my own personal pens, that would DEFINITELY be on the hotlist.
