This is my first attempt at label casting (and my 5th pen overall). Next time I'll use calipers to check the ends instead of relying on the bushings. Also, I'll probably go for a straight barrel instead of the bulge. The pen is thicker than I thought it would be. The real problem though is the label itself. I printed it on waterproof matte paper from Onlinelabels.com. The background was black when I wrapped the tube, but it's now brown. I cast it in Alumilite Clear and let it cure in a pressure pot overnight. Any idea what would cause the color to change like that?

That should have been enough. I'm not sure what would have caused it unless it was the brand of ink. Maybe DaleCamino or One of the other label casters has an idea. I haven't experienced this color change with Canon ink though I haven't yet tried with my new HP printer.
