My first acrylic pen!

I seen someone post a beautiful pink pen a while back. As this is my wifes favorite color, I had to try one out myself. Just a very nice micro-mesh finish. I think she's gonna like it. What about my fellow forum members?

The finish on it looks great! I only micro mesh my acrylics and have been very happy with the results.

For your first acrylic you did well Bobby. The profile is excellent and the finish also looks fine. And as you know finishing acrylics is a Pandora's Box.

Very nice. I've got to order my first acrylic blank for a pen after the first of the year. Might be asking for advice since I've just turned a very small piece some time back.

Thanks y'all! The finish turned out better than I thought it would. I took my micro mesh from 1500 all the way to 12000. Then just a little polish with meguiars headlight polish. Made it shine even better. Lol

Nice pen, Bobby. Fit and finish are excellent! I took a class at Woodcraft and my wife claimed the pen- Slim Line in purpleheart. That was an expensive pen!

That was the first pen I made for my wife also. Slimline in purpleheart. Lol
