I used the nice ribon shavings that I got off of my 1st cast. purple and blue. added a small amount of pearl white to the PR and but it under pressure. sadly the photo does not do it justice. the shavings partially desolved but left the impresion of there color and path through the resin. I am going do a small one in clear resin to really see what happens. Once I am satisfied, I will name them. Either..."Yummy leftovers" or " waste not want not"

Looks pretty cool , sorta like the inside of an oyster shell . Great way to add some color to blanks and recycle shavings . Bet you could add some wood shavings as well .
 
Doesn't even have to be a pigmented blank.

You are definately on the right track. Keep it up!
