My best friend

It is a sad day in our house today. We had to put our cat down, he got a bloodclot yesterday that paralized his hind legs & he was in a lot of pain. His name was Jackpot & we had him for only 6yrs but he was my best friend! He always wanted to be with me . I SURE WILL MISS HIM!!

I lost one of a pair a year ago. I still have her nephew (he's getting a bit long in the tooth) and we both miss her. It's amazing how they burrow their way into your life, isn't it.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. I too experience the loss of a cat several years ago and I still get sad when I think of him.

My Cleo is usually on my desk or in my lap when I am at the computer. I know the feeling of loss you must feel.

I am sorry for your loss. We lost 3 last year around christmas with 1 dog we had for 14 years having to be put down, and my daughters cat who was 13 that she still pines for(today was a year that he dissapeared-she is reminding us all day of the anniversary:frown. It is hard to lose a loved one. Remember thier good times fondly and remember they are in a better place.

Boy do I feel your pain and fully understand we have 3 dogs (well 2 now) we lost one of our Yorkies 2 weeks ago and it is very hard.
