my absence

Sorry I haven't posted hardly anything in a while. Haven't been able to do much pen turning lately. But at least I have a good reason.

I just finished my LAST class for my bachelor's degree. So finally, 20 years after I left high school, I'm a college graduate.

Just in time because I retire from the military in July of next year. Now I have something extra to throw on the old resume.

Great job, Randy! Believe me, there are many times when I regret leaving the Navy after 9 years! Now, 22 years later, I am working on finishing my "20" with the US Public Health Service, also known as Military Lite"!! :wink:

I am a Machinsts Mate (Nuclear, ELT). Currently I'm a Radiological Controls supervisor and Military LPO at NRMD in Groton.

Definitely glad the degree is finally done. One more monkey off my back hehe

Randy, i also was a MM (nuclear, welder) worked in 38N in the test equipment lab and then worked in the room where we made our own containment bags.....in fact, i am a 'plank owner' for NRMD.
