Must be owl week

Spotted this guy outside our dining room window in a tree on the creek bank . I had to take the pic through the window & screen so not to scare him off .

You wouldn't of scared him off. I walked up to the tree when I was taking picture and he (or she) was watching me the whole time and didn't seem to care. We stared at each other for quite a while.

Thanks Steve , wish I'd have known that . I would have gotten a better shot . He or she , stayed there for a good while . Hope I see it again .

Saw this owl again this morning and , no it's not letting me get close to it . But while I was watching the owl , these three came out of the creek one by one . I saw the first one and grabbed a shot . Then the other two came out of the trees . What a morning I'm having . :biggrin:

Dang Chuck, and you want to live down here? I would love to see that outside my window. Keep these pics in your mind , here is the Florida reality, you will see owls, but they will be in the ground. They are easily spotted because there is orange caution tape around the nest and you won't be able to get a permit to build because they have taken up a residence in the yard. The deer will be replaced by your drunken, nosy neighbor who comes out in his boxers to get his newspaper and spills his coffee as he moons your house to bend over to get it. What a view.
