This year has been year of the top for me, trying to make as many different kinds as possible. Although on my list for a while, I was unsure if I could pull off a multi axis one. After a few false starts, came up with an idea for a eccentric chuck that seemed to work well. Yes it spins!
Short piece of 1x8 threaded rod turned down slightly off center
Turned down portion held in scroll chuck
Collet chuck screwed onto threaded rod. Rotated to get different axes. (Piece in chuck was practice)
