I'm a long time user of FireFox, Everything has been fine except for the last week or so. Often times, when I try to connect to IAP . . I get a long pause and then a "Server Not Found" message. At other times, I'll get connected to IAP, but then when I try to head into one of the threads ... I'll get the "Server Not Found" message again.

It's getting really annoying. Any ideas for resolving this issue?

Thanks!

Al,
I use IE most of the time to go into IAP.. I don't have problem with "server not found", but I sometimes get that looooong pause between clicking on a thread and the thread actually opening... I just assumed it was my D---ed Dell... also may be the IAP or your server getting bogged... it is annoying... I have no resolution though.. just patience.

Clear your cache. And I would suggest setting the "Clear my privacy data when I close" This will keep the cache to a minimum.

I use FF exclusively and don't have the issues your describing.

Do you have Norton antivirus by chance?

I dual boot my main machine between XP and Vista and I found that my XP would not let me log in when my subscription to Norton ran out and I went with another antivirus my problem went away. Never did find out what the problem was I just know on my particular machine it was caused by a clash between Norton Antivirus and Firefox. If cleaning out the cookies does not help try disabling your aitivirus and see if that helps.

I have come to the conclusion that Mozilla is a waste of cyberspace. I posted a query on this some time ago. I'm tired of FF not finding thins and worse syill locking my computer so th I have to re- boot.
I'm not a happy cusyomer!![xx(][xx(][xx(]

I've been using Mozilla Firefox almost exclusively (especially after finding the 'IE Tab' add-on that even fools Microsoft Update) and have zerio problems on the site. I did, however, end up setting IE Tab to open all pages on the site because something (and I don't remember what) wouldn't work properly without IE. Everything works fine using IE Tab, though.

I had this problem with both IE and FF until I dumped Norton and replaced it with AVGFree.

I'm a big fan of FireFox. I may take your advice and dump Norton for AVGFree.
Thanks for all of the help that everybody has given!

I have noticed a lag issue with the site, I thought it was just me. Anyone else noticing longer then normal loading times?

Al I hate Norton's, I was having issues with a new laptop getting to certain web sites. I finally decided to dump Norton's. I did the uninstall and on reboot all I got was a blue power light and nothing else. My mother board fried, (Can you believe that) Norton's was so determined to stay on my computer. [B)]

Just got the laptop back and am looking for new anti virus. I have Mcafee on this one but it just expired. Any suggestions to a good one that is not as invasive as Norton's or McAfee?
