:confused:Why did this happen, I used white rustoleum enamel and waited 24 hrs but it seems the resin caused the paint to wrinkle. Should I have waited longer for the paint to set or should I have used a different paint. I also used the resin kit from PSI if that makes a difference.

I've had that problem myself. In my case the resin was attacking the paint. The only way I was able to fix or solve the problem was to let the paint cure for a week or so and to seal it with glue. I used c.a. or elmers. Good Luck

Maybe modge podge would help. But you might want to find some high heat paint too. I'm not sure if it comes in white though. Also look at the can. It should tell you how long till the paint is FULLY cured

Kenny,
I let my painted tubes sit over night then coat with thin CA. have not had a problem with the paint pulling away. Just the way I do it but it could save you some time.
