@Joebobber , many thanks for turning my custom design into a reality. You've really begun to master the Granster!

Nice assortment of pretty woods. Nicely turned and finished. But yeah... what are they? My first thought was knitting hooks or seam rippers, but then I decided that they look like modified (closed end) Rollesters.

I must know what some of those woods are. I see cherry, spalted (maple?), ambrosia maple?, definitely purpleheart, buckeye burl, marblewood?... maybe osage orange?
Are any of them dyed? That curly one with the wavy pattern running the length of it is really cool looking.

Good eyes, Todd! Yes, these are custom Rollesters. Here's one of the first Joe made for me: https://www.penturners.org/threads/the-granster-a-rollester-custom-design.183148/

As for the woods, excellent guesses. None are dyed. From left to right: mineral-stained pear, spalted maple burl, sirari rosewood, mud-cured osage orange, spalted English walnut, lignum vitae burl, buckeye burl, purple acacia, pistachio, spalted wormy laurel sumac, carob, mud-cured osage orange, tamarind burl, conkerwood, prickly acacia.

Thanks for checking them out.

Nice. I hadn't heard of some of those, but there's probably a couple different names for some. I really love the color blend in that mud-cured osage orange. Maybe I should have let that Sumac tree grow a little more (although it was growing into the chain link fence)
