I made a couple other of the faith, hope, love pens after the Shittim one I showed. Though I did not see anything visible that would scratch the section, I still deburred it in hopes that it would not end up like the copper/Shittim one. I do like the lower barrel on the Ebony rollerball better than the previous one (shown for comparison). It gives the appearance of the rope cinching the ends of the barrel and gives it a little more substance. There is a small crack (of course, because Ebony is so brittle) that I patched with some ultra-thin GluBoost. The finish is Pens Plus on this one.
The other is the standard twist style in Olive. It's a pretty classic combination, finished in GluBoost.
The RB version has been discontinued. I wish they would keep it, but with a few updates. The one thing I dislike the most is the difference in diameter between the finial and the clip. The metal on metal threads are obviously a problem, too.
