Beautiful pens ! Could you please identify the woods .
Thanks, Wayne.

In the bottom pic, from left to right:
Cordia burl (Cordia spp.), from Vanuatu
Lychee (Litchi chinensis), from Hawaii
Spalted mango (Mangifera indica), origin unknown, but likely from Hawaii
Spalted cross-cut lama ebony (Diospyros sandwicensis), from Hawaii
Ko'u (Cordia subcordata), from Hawaii
Kamani (Calophyllum inophyllum), from Hawaii
Milo (Thespesia populnea), from Hawaii
Ohia (Metrosideros spp.), from Hawaii
Monkeypod (Albizia saman), from Hawaii

In the top pic, it's the lychee.

I really do like this design. The caps on the Rollester have never appealed to me, but customers apparently love them.
Thanks, Todd! Yeah, the caps are pretty simple. But that's partly why I like them: the wood barrel becomes the main focus. Sometimes I like to think of wood as the gemstones.

Thanks again,

G
